Len-Len Update
Len-Len (I miss-spelled her name last time) has stage 3 cancer. It started in her nose and has spread to her lymph nodes. She has already started chemotherapy and needs to have radiation therapy. Unfortunately, right now she will have to wait until October to start the radiation because the hospital is backed up. There is the possibility that she can get in sooner at another hospital, though. Please pray that she will be able to go ahead and get started on the radiation as well.

Len-Len is Lindsey's pen pal. Will letters we send to ABP still get to her or is there another address? Please tell her we are all praying for her.

It's great to hear about all the opportunities the Lord is giving you. John's sermon last night had the theme "Finish Well" as he shared about Miriam, who started well, but did not finish so well. I encourage you to finish well. Sam, Shelley, and Megan Ghetti are at Orientation at NGA until Tuesday. Sam's getting to scrimmage with the bball team. We're praying for you.

Thanks for taking the time to keep us up on what is happening with the kids and the churches. We are praying for you both--strength, endurance, and God's heart for Manila. Tell Len-Len I am praying for her and that God will guide the hands and minds of the doctors for successful treatment.
I am glad for you both that you are getting such an extended amount of time to develop deep relationships with the kids and team in Manila. Wish we could be there too.
